Oklahoma Islamic School Foundation cares about education excellence in all schools, believing that the public good is best served by a strong network of public, charter and private schools.

A few years ago, in 2011, Oklahoma passed a bill called the Oklahoma Equal Opportunity Education Scholarship Act, an innovative program that provides credit for donations to certain Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs).  In 2013 Oklahoma Islamic School Foundation began the process of becoming an SGO to provide scholarships to Islamic schools in Oklahoma.  With Oklahoma Private School Opportunity Scholarship, OISF has the opportunity to invest in families who need some financial assistance to send their PreK-12 students to the schools that they believe are best-suited for their needs. SGO funds are provided by private donors who receive tax benefits in return for their donations. Our partner schools must meet certain criteria outlined by the state of Oklahoma, and then enter into a participation agreement with us.  Please review the  information on how to become a partner school, or to view a list of our current participating schools.
